Call forwarding allows you to route your business calls to a virtual receptionist whenever you’re unavailable. Your calls will be answered in your business name by a friendly professional, and your customers will receive a great service.
You can choose when and how you would like to forward your calls depending on your business needs.
How does it work?
When you sign up to HelloSells, we can provide your business with a new toll free number. This is often a good option for new businesses, divisions, or locations.
If you already have a local or toll free number set up and want to continue using it, that’s fine too. Your calls can be forwarded to a number we provide, but your customers will keep using the same number they always have.
Types of call forwarding
You could use any one of the following types of call forwarding, or a combination of each. Your client services team will help you to devise the best plan to suit you.
Automated call forwarding
Automated call forwarding allows you to forward your calls to us at set times, such as after-hours or on days when you’re out of the office.
If your standard working hours are weekdays from 9-5, you might decide to forward your calls at evenings and weekends. If you want to forward your calls on a certain day of the week, when you’re out of the office, we can do that too.
You can choose when you want your calls go to your in-house staff, and when you’d like them to be forwarded to a virtual receptionist.
Find me call forwarding
If the nature of your business means you’re always on the move, a “find me” call forwarding option might be the best fit for you.
With find me call forwarding, your calls come to you first, but if you don’t answer, the system can try another number, such as your mobile phone. If you don’t answer that, or if you haven’t set a backup number to try, we automatically route your calls to our virtual receptionists.
You set the rules that control who your callers reach first, and how many rings you want to give yourself before the call is forwarded.
Manual call forwarding
Manual call forwarding gives you total control over when you would like your calls to be forwarded.
You can have calls come to you by default, and choose only to forward your calls when you’re on vacation, in a meeting, or if you just need a few hours to get on with an important project without distractions.
It’s easy to forward your calls and take them back again whenever you need to.
